The aerial quick change on Spanish web is a high energy aerial act that tells the story of the transformation of the masculine into the feminine. The act begins with the power and dynamic acrobatics of the spinning rope and comes to a crescendo with the quick change from the suit to the red dress while spinning from the neck. The vocal catharsis of the audience during this quick change converts the room into something like a rock show.

The stage illusion set begins with the floating table, where Elena anthropomorphizes the hat and table to become her partner in this elegant and sensual dance. Elena keeps this tone with the linking rings illusion, using it to hypnotize her audience. ​​
Ending with the magical sands, Elena takes the audience into a transformational ritual where the magical sands undergoes metamorphosis within the sacred waters, not just to be retrieved dry again but like a painter she merges the colors to produce completely new colors, bringing a sense of hope and revival to her captive audience.
Stage Illusion
In 2018, I designed and fabricated 20th Century Fashion, a fast paced quick change act that spans the vogue of the 1900’s, decade by decade, where sex, drugs and rock n' roll tell a lady's retrospective from her right to vote to #MeToo.
Most recently I turned 20th Century Fashion into a duo act. My new partner, Tanya Gagné, adds 25 years of her own experience as a variety performer and entrepreneur. As women growing up in the last quarter of the 20th century, we had the benefit of the reaping the rewards of the women that struggled through repression and fought for freedom, giving us a unique perspective and ownership of our liberation.
This act takes a look at women's history through comedic satire and dazzling fashion!
